Trade futures based on the 30 Year Treasury Bond (symbol zb), utilizing 5 and 30 minute charts. I use the Williams AO Oscillator in combination with AGET StoRSI and MACD to generate entry signals. Very short term trades, averaging 5 to 6 signals a day.

On the economic calendar:-

07:00 MBA Purchase Applications

08:30 Durable Goods Orders (Prior -3.7%, consensus 2,8%)

10:15 Fed Outright Treasury Coupon Purchases up to $5.25 billion

13:00 5 Year Note Auction

Yesterday’s rally stalled overnight, while the market waits for this mornings Durable Goods numbers, release at 8.30. The 30 minute trend chart remains bullish, and will only flip bearish on a close below 138’00.

30 Year Treasury Bond Futures Chart

Resistance is now at yesterday’s high of 138’18, while support is found at 136’27 and at 136’24. Breaking above 138’18 should lead to resistance at 138’24 (50% retracement) and 139’19 (61.8% retracement). The 139’19 level is preferred, as this would close the gap at 139’08 found on the daily chart.
